Corporate Profile

The recent discovery of substantial oil reserve in Ghana has created a soaring demand for oil and petroleum products in Ghana and its neighbouring countries. Ghana is ranked fourth in Africa as the most attractive investment destination for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), mainly due to the opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
DAD PETROLEUM (DP) is the business / trading name for AEL ENERGY LIMITED a BDC and OMC licensed company incorporated under Ghana law, with the purpose of importing, exporting and distributing in wholesale quantities, petroleum products to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and large industrial concerns and mines within and outside Ghana. DP is an emerging global force in the Oil and Gas industry specialising in the mid-stream and down-stream sector by importing, exporting and distributing petroleum products in both wholesale and retail quantities. The company draws much of its experience and synergy from its sister company DAD Ventures (UK) which is an active member of Association for Petroleum and Explosives Administration (APEA).The growth of the African economy has frequently been linked to the richness of its untapped mineral reserves and infrastructure development. While these sectors continue to hold their importance, the economy is diversifying, with Africa emerging as a key oil-producing region.
As an emerging BDC holder specialising in the oil and gas mid-stream and downstream sector, our business is guided by relentless focus on our five main imperatives, by delivering a competitive and sustainable rate or return to our investors. All our long-term strategies and short-term actions will be moulded by a set of core values that are shared by each associate. Our corporate activities will be conducted to the highest ethical and professional standards. We also believe in education, enrichment and development. We will foster relationships that integrate the talent, interests, and goals of all our co-workers

How We Work

Working Progress

The five key characteristics leading to the success and profitability of DP are:

01

Provision of high-quality service in the markets that currently are either un-served, poorly served, or under-subscribed by existing companies, thereby setting both a new trend and a new pace in the industry

04

Employment of cost-effective, above ground fixed roof tanks or floating roof tanks that operate under no (or very little) pressure, distinguishing them from pressure vessels, which in turn have additional requirements that must be considered. This will help ensure the highest level of reliability, environmental friendly, safety, and customer satisfaction

02

Development & implementation of cooperation’s, associations, and partnerships with other larger, more established, and highly regarded upstream and refinery companies .

05

Ensuring a friendly, cooperative, enjoyable, yet highly professional face to the customer.

03

Utilization of the latest electronic and informational technology in sales and marketing, repairs & maintenance scheduling, resource planning and operational oversight.
